BaT Pulse: Your Say on the Market Giant

PLUS: A Very Special Record Breaking Listing

The Daily Vroom

Good Morning Vroomers,

This is a special edition of The Daily Vroom. Over the next few weeks, I’m taking the pulse of the market by asking you the buyers, sellers, and watchers who live in it every day. We’ll look at how each platform is really performing, what’s working, what isn’t, and where the market is shifting.

And there’s no better place to start than with the giant in the room: Bring a Trailer. Love em or hate em, BaT still sets the tone for the collector car world. The question is how do you feel about them right now?

Seven quick questions. Straight answers. Then I’ll share the results with my take.

I also can’t share a newsletter without one listing and it’s a special one.

If you’ve spent any time on Bring a Trailer, you’ve seen the name 911r. Few sellers have had more influence on the culture of the site, and now they’ve hit a milestone that deserves a pause. This week marks their 2,000th auction.

That number alone is staggering, but it’s not just about volume. 911r has built a reputation on incredible listings, sharp communication, and a depth of knowledge that makes every one of their auctions feel like an event. The consistency over that many sales is almost hard to believe.

And what better way to celebrate than with a 9k-mile 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster in Giallo Super Fly. It’s a car that embodies the drama of the late ’90s, scissor doors, gated shifter, V12 roar but presented with the polish that has made 911r such a force on the platform.

Hitting 2,000 listings isn’t just a number. It’s proof of what happens when expertise, trust, and passion line up. For BaT, for buyers, and for everyone watching, this is a benchmark moment.
