Double Porsche Blockbusters Smash the Market
PLUS: A 20-mile Demon 170 surfaces, a carbon-laden McLaren 600LT turns heads, and a no-reserve Split Window Corvette rolls the dice.
The Daily Vroom
Good morning Vroomers,
Yesterday was a Porsche masterclass. The 904 we called out in yesterday’s edition sold for $2.375M, a Carrera GT followed for $1.921m and even a 910 crested seven figures before stalling at RNM. Three headline cars, all Stuttgart born, with two of them helping push daily sales to an astonishing $12.7M.
Porsche may dominate online auctions, but the year’s top sales remind us it’s still a mixed bag at the very top a Ferrari LaFerrari, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a Mercedes-Benz SL550, and a Bugatti Chiron Sport lead the chart.

MARKET LEADERBOARD
We haven’t seen a leaderboard this packed in a while. Seven different platforms made the cut and it would be great if this became a regular sight.
💰 The figures shared below don’t count any other sales such as car seats, memorabilia etc… All online auction sites are analyzed to put this leaderboard together.
I only include websites that have sold 5+ vehicles in the chart below.

Turtle Invitational Auction: Cars, Culture, and a Cause
The Turtle Invitational has built a reputation as one of the most distinctive gatherings in the car world. It is equal parts show, cultural salon, and philanthropic effort. This year’s event is sold out, but you can still be part of it through the auction, which benefits the Pray Family Foundation.
On Bring a Trailer, a freshly rebuilt Ford 289ci V8 is crossing the block at no reserve. Fitzgerald Automotive donated the build, BaT waived its fees, and every dollar from the hammer price will go directly to the Pray Foundation. It is more than just a small block with period pedigree. It is a chance to own a piece of American muscle history while supporting an organization that continues Malcolm Pray’s legacy of inspiring young people through entrepreneurship and the automobile.
Alongside the BaT listing, the Turtle Invitational is also running a silent auction packed with standout items: a day at the Revs Institute, a private tour with Wayne Carini, F1 memorabilia, even conservation experiences. Every lot carries the same purpose, blending automotive passion with philanthropy.
If you are able and willing to bid, this is one of those rare moments where collecting and giving back go hand in hand.

Special Auctions Ending Next Week
Every once in a while something comes along that is more than just another auction listing. This 20-mile Demon 170 is that kind of car. It is VIN #76, one of the very first off the line, and it happens to be one of just 10 finished in F8 Green with black houndstooth. You are not just buying a Demon 170, you are buying one of the rarest combinations in the entire run of 3,300.
It gets even better. This car comes from The House of Muscle, the YouTube series known to a lot of enthusiasts, which gives it provenance from day one. Add in the fact that it has only 20 miles and still comes with the VIN matched decanter set and other unopened extras, and it becomes the sort of package collectors dream about.
The Demon 170 was Dodge’s final chapter for the Challenger and the Hemi muscle car era. No more V8 Challengers are coming. That makes this car the modern equivalent of the Hemi Cuda moment in the early 70s. Back then nobody knew those cars would become million dollar legends. Today it feels obvious that a Demon 170 in this spec, this early in the VIN run, with this kind of provenance, will be worth far more in five or ten years.
This is a future proof buy. The end of the line for the Challenger, the most powerful factory muscle car ever built, and one of the rarest configurations you can find. If you believe in history repeating itself, this is the Mopar to own.
This is how you’re supposed to enjoy a supercar. Nearly 20,000 miles on the clock and it looks better for it. Most 600LTs sit in garages with delivery mileage, but this one has been out in the wild, stretching its legs, exactly as McLaren intended. Kudos to the owner.
Spec wise it’s about as good as it gets. Chicane Effect paint, MSO Clubsport Pro Pack, Senna seats, and a $40,000 roof scoop. Nearly every box was ticked on the carbon options list too, fender vents, carbon exterior upgrades, interior carbon everywhere. The kind of spec that makes even seasoned McLaren owners take notice.
Roof scoops are said to number under 100 in the U.S., and paired with Senna seats that figure is even lower. Throw in the ECU tune, downpipes, and filters and you’ve got a proper flamethrower that still comes with service history and a clean Carfax.
The 600LT was only offered as a coupe for one model year, making it special already, but in this trim and with this mileage it’s something else. A driver’s car that has actually been driven, with the kind of spec you will not stumble across again.
I have always been a big Split Window fan. The 63 coupe is one of the most iconic shapes in American car history, and this one comes with plenty of attitude.
Last time it crossed the block it hit $165k RNM and stalled. This time the seller has real guts. They are rolling the dice and letting it fly at no reserve. That takes confidence, and it is the kind of move that gets bidders leaning in. Someone is going to own it no matter what.
This is not just a stock classic. It is a proper restomod with LS7 power, a Tremec 5 speed, Wilwood brakes, RideTech suspension, and a custom chassis built for balance. The build was strong enough to land in Popular Hot Rodding back in 2012, and it has been raced and enjoyed since.
Riverside Red paint, widened bodywork, 18 inch wheels, C5 seats, Vintage Air, plus a roll bar and harnesses to remind you what it was built for. It is the kind of car you can show, cruise, or hammer at the track.
Split Window Corvettes will always be collectible, but this one is a driver’s dream. The gamble now is whether it sells for less than the cost of the build or surprises everyone and climbs well past expectations. Either way, credit to the seller. This takes balls.
