Above are the sales from Friday’s auctions. Overall value of vehicles sold was a very steady $5.8m, which is in the daily average range of $5.5-$6.5m that we’re seeing on most days. Of course every so often we have an outlier like we did last week with over $12m sold on Wednesday, which if you haven’t yet, you can read here.

Collecting Cars has just had an electrifying week of sales, setting the record for the highest sale of the year across any platform of £2,940,500!!

That's not all - they've also clinched three out of the top four sales in 2023! 💥

This marks a new record for them, achieving the highest ever sale of an F50 in an online auction. Congratulations on this accomplishment! 👏

Regular readers of The Daily Vroom are familiar with my consistent message about the untapped potential of weekend sales. Well, it looks like someone's listening, because this record-setting sale took place on a Sunday – proving that the end of the week can indeed be a prime time for auto auction action! 🗓️

In total there was $11m worth of sales over the week, with Collecting Cars selling over $5m of that. That is serious cash for the weekend!!
