Holiday Slowdown? Not for $1M Ford GT 🚗
PLUS: The Intermeccanica Italia Spyder Breaks Sales Record
The Daily Vroom
Good morning Vroomers,
Quick one today - I'm on the move for the 4th, like half the country. But I couldn't leave you hanging without a breakdown of yesterday's action.
It's plain as day that auction traffic is down this week. Everyone's got BBQ and fireworks on the brain. But don't be fooled - deals are still going down, just not as many.
I've thrown together some analysis below. Take a look when you get a sec.
Anyway, hope you and yours have a great 4th. Crack a cold one for me. 🇺🇸
We'll be back at it on Monday.

YESTERDAY’S TOP 10 SALES
We're switching things up today by showcasing the top 10 sales from yesterday. You've been asking for more data on previous sales for these cars, so we've ramped that up. You'll see more previous sales info, or lack thereof, for each ride.
Yesterday we hit a low point - fewest sales for a weekday this year. But don't write it off just yet. A few big-ticket items pushed our total to a solid $6.6m, averaging out at $49k per sale.
Just goes to show, even on a slow day, this market can surprise you. A few high-rollers can change the game in a heartbeat.
Previous sales data for this vehicle are not directly comparable, making it impractical to present that information. The closest analog in terms of rarity and appeal is a 1969 Intermeccanica Italia Spyder, which fetched $207,000 at auction two years ago.
It's worth noting that the seller's identity often provides valuable context. In this case, seeing that 911r is the seller immediately signals that this is an exceptional vehicle. Their reputation for dealing in elite automobiles adds credibility to the car's provenance and condition, further emphasizing its special nature.
There’s not enough auction data to show here for this Lamborghini.
There is no Fury Edition previous data on this one. That being said a regular 720s has an average sale price between $190-$200k in online auctions. So the price on this special edition seems to be a little low.
