UNIQUE & SPECIAL CARS UP FOR AUCTION

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Only one of the most coveted and jaw-droppingly gorgeous cars ever made - the 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 "Daytona" Plexiglass LHD.

This Pininfarina-designed beauty is a feast for the eyes with its bold Giallo Fly exterior and Nero leather interior. And let's not forget that heavenly V12 engine and open-gate H-pattern transmission that make it an absolute joy to drive.

Restored to perfection by an official Ferrari restorer, this rare gem has covered fewer than 200 miles since, and it shows - presentation is near-flawless. With only 1,280 ever built, this Daytona is rarer than a four-leaf clover, and it's sure to turn heads wherever it goes. Full details on this auction can be found on carandclassic.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to a true American classic, the 1999 AM General M1151A1. This bad boy has got it all: a mean camouflage finish, a green interior that's cooler than a cucumber, and a whole bunch of factory equipment that will make you feel like you're in the army (minus the screaming drill sergeants).

But wait, there's more! This Humvee (or HMMWV, if you want to get technical) has been modified to perfection with an Ibis Tek push bar, airlift bumpers, LED exterior lighting, and a fire suppression system that will make you feel like a superhero. And did I mention the SINCGARS radio deck and Bose headsets? You'll be communicating like a boss while cruising down the streets.

Under the hood, you'll find a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 engine that's as powerful as it is efficient, with 190 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. And with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case, you'll be able to handle any terrain that comes your way.

Whether you're a military vehicle enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates unique rides, this M1151A1 is definitely a head-turner that's worth checking out on cars&bids.

FROM STEAM CARS TO TIGHTER BUTTS: JAY LENO'S FIERY ADVENTURE

Jay Leno, the former host of The Tonight Show, recently wrote about a little accident he had with his 1907 White steam car. Now, the fun thing about steam cars is that they're basically lost technology, so if you know anything about them, you're the answer man at any car show. And let's be honest, who doesn't love being the answer man?

But back to Jay's accident. Apparently, he was lying under the car, trying to unclog a fuel line, when his friend blew air through it and suddenly gas went everywhere, hitting Jay in the face. Luckily, Jay had quick reflexes and closed his eyes, but some of the gas hit the pilot light and ignited. And just like that, Jay was on fire!

Now, most people would panic and scream for help, but not Jay. He calmly told his friend, "Dave, I'm on fire." But Dave didn't believe him at first and thought he was just joking around. It wasn't until he turned around and saw Jay's face on fire that he realized this was no laughing matter.

Long story short, Jay ended up in the Grossman Burn Center and had to spend four hours a day in a hyperbaric chamber, which is basically like a coffin. But don't worry, he came out with wrinkle-free skin, poutier lips, and a tighter butt. Maybe getting burned isn't so bad after all!

Now, as a celebrity, Jay knows how the media works. They love to make a big deal out of everything. For example, when he was in the hospital, the headlines read "Leno Breaks His Silence on the Accident!" But let's be real, when is Jay ever silent? He talks all the time! And don't believe everything you read, folks.

GUESS WHO?

Which fashion 'celebrity' was spotted getting out of his orange Porsche GT3 RS?

Here’s some clues:

  • This famous fashion designer is known for his classic and timeless style, which is reflected in both his clothing designs and his car collection.

  • He has been named to the Forbes Billionaires list multiple times, and his net worth is estimated to be over $7 billion.

  • He is an avid car collector, and his impressive collection includes a wide range of rare and valuable vehicles, from vintage classics to modern supercars.

THE LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH

The Lamborghini Countach is one of the most iconic and recognizable supercars of all time, with its aggressive wedge-shaped design and powerful V12 engine. Here are a few fun facts 😀 about this legendary car:

The Countach's design was so extreme and unconventional that it was actually rejected by other car manufacturers before Lamborghini decided to produce it. It was designed by Marcello Gandini at the Bertone design studio, and was inspired by fighter jets and other aeronautical designs.

The Countach was produced in several different versions over the years, each with its own unique features and upgrades. Some of the most iconic models include the LP400, the LP500S, and the 25th Anniversary Edition.

The Countach was known for its difficult handling, with a heavy clutch and a tendency to oversteer. However, this only added to its appeal among car enthusiasts, who prized its raw and uncompromising performance.

The Countach was featured in numerous movies and TV shows over the years, including "The Cannonball Run," "Knight Rider," and "The Wolf of Wall Street." It was also a favorite of celebrities and high-profile collectors, including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Sylvester Stallone.

Overall, the Lamborghini Countach is a car that continues to capture the imagination of car enthusiasts and collectors around the world. Its distinctive design, powerful engine, and legendary status make it a true icon of automotive history. Which begs the questions, how do I get my hands on one!!
