The Daily Vroom
Welcome to the Thursday edition of The Daily Vroom!
Yesterday, I reached out to you with a poll, asking what major piece of content you'd like to see next. The response has been fantastic, with the results thus far being pretty equal. However, one answer is just slightly ahead of the rest: you've expressed interest in "a deep dive into an auction platform's sales." ๐๐
I'm thrilled by the diversity of your requests, so I've decided to cover all the poll answers in the coming days and weeks.
But to kick things off, I'll start with that intriguing deep dive into an auction platform's sales. Now, I need your input on which platform you'd like me to focus on. Please cast your vote in the poll below. ๐ณ๏ธ๐

MARKET LEADERBOARD
The leaderboard is buzzing today with an impressive total of just over $6.5 million worth of sales in auctions yesterday. Leading the charge is Bring A Trailer, contributing to the bulk of the action with just over $4.7 million in sales. ๐๐ฐ
A notable shoutout goes to PCarMarket, who made waves by selling the second-highest vehicle of the day for $222,000โa significant achievement that certainly deserves highlighting.
Still no leaderboard breakthrough for Hagerty who sold just 3 cars yesterday.
If Hemmings can sell 8 cars (total value just over $100k) then there is real hope for Hagerty and every other site. Click here to read my Hemmings rant postโฆ

Additional Details ๐
Stored in climate control and with 800 more miles added since acquisition, this Bronco has been well cared for.
My Reflection: Why It May Not Have Sold ๐ค
Market Dynamics: A potential downturn for this model. ๐
Presentation: Lack of appealing visuals might have reduced interest. ๐ธ
Expectations: The seller's reliance on Bring A Trailer without fully showcasing the vehicle's attributes. ๐ซ
My Viewpoint: In my opinion, the unsuccessful sale likely stems from a combination of market factors and presentation. The quality and effort put into showcasing a vehicle matter just as much as the platform used. This nearly sold Bronco reminds us that attention to detail and understanding the market can make all the difference. ๐
This story offers a valuable lesson in the world of automotive sales, emphasizing the intricate interplay of market dynamics, presentation, and platform choices. Whether in car sales or in life itself, putting forth our best side and adapting to various influencing factors can lead to success.
