SALE OF THE DAY

This just in! An ultra-rare πŸš€ 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT Convertible 5-Speed has found a new home for a cool πŸ’°**$42,000** on BaT.

This beauty is a one-owner, fresh out of New Jersey with a ridiculously low 4k miles on the clock. Still radiating in its original Vista Blue Clearcoat Metallic finish, this pony comes equipped with a 4.6-liter V8, producing a hefty 319 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. 😲

It's loaded with a distinctive Ford Racing cold air intake and an X-pipe exhaust system with performance mufflers, making sure it doesn't just look good, but sounds menacing too! πŸŽοΈπŸ’¨

The Shelby GT package gives it a unique character with silver racing stripes 🏁, a Hurst short-throw shifter, and polished 18β€³ aluminum wheels, among other things. Not to mention the luxurious Dark Charcoal leather upholstery and a Shaker 500 sound system for those smooth rides.

An impressive piece of Mustang history, this gem is #880 from the 2008 model year. Clearly, a well-preserved classic that managed to capture its new owner's heart. πŸ–€πŸŽ

Vroom Verdict: Good sale for both buyer & seller.

WEEKLY MUSTANG SALES

πŸš€ Weekly Mustang Auction Summary πŸš€

This week's online Mustang auctions have been quite a ride. Let's break down the results across generations, with a spotlight on the top and bottom performers. πŸ“Š

1st Generation (1964-1973) Mustangs 🐴

This classic generation brought in some of the highest sales, particularly on Bring a Trailer (BaT). The 1967 Fastback 6-Speed took the top spot, going for a hefty πŸ’°**$179,000**πŸ’°.

This generation had strong representation with notable sales including the 1965 Fastback 5-Speed at $48,750 and the 1969 Mach 1 428 Cobra at $90,000.

On the lower end, the 1968 289 Hardtop sold for $21,494 on Collecting Cars, and the 1965 Coupe 289 moved at $16,000 on BaT.

4th Generation (1994-2004) Mustangs πŸš€

BaT saw a flurry of sales from this generation, with the 2003 SVT Cobra Coupe leading the pack at $27,750. The 1994 Cobra Indy 500 found a new home at a more modest $18,795. On Cars & Bids, the 2000 GT Convertible went for the least at $8,300, the lowest sale across all generations this week.

5th Generation (2005-2014) Mustangs 🏎️

Several significant sales here, with the 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca selling for $52,000 on BaT. The 2009 Shelby GT 500KR wasn't far behind, selling for $45,250, also on BaT.

6th Generation (2015-Present) Mustangs πŸš—

The newest Mustangs also had a strong showing. The 2021 Shelby GT500 sold for an impressive $85,000 on BaT, while the 2018 Shelby GT350R fetched $77,555. However, not all models performed as well – the 2015 GT Convertible sold for just $26,230 on Cars & Bids.

All in all, it was a thrilling week for Mustang enthusiasts. Whether classic or modern, the Mustang continues to captivate the market. Stay tuned for next week's auction round-up! πŸŽπŸ’¨πŸ
