LETS TALK ZR-1'S

At The Daily Vroom, I want to cover all of the market trends with different makes and models. Today I want to concentrate on how the ZR1/ZR-1 is selling in online auctions and who if anyone is dominating the market. I've added a little history on the model for those that might be interested.

The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (also written as ZR-1) is a high-performance variant of the Chevrolet Corvette, an American sports car. While the ZR1 and ZR-1 designations are used interchangeably, they refer to different generations of the Corvette with distinct features and performance upgrades.

The first Corvette ZR-1 was introduced in 1990 as part of the C4 generation, which ran from 1984 to 1996. The 1990-1995 ZR-1 was a result of a collaboration between Chevrolet and Lotus Engineering, which led to the development of the LT5 engine, a 5.7-liter V8 producing 375 horsepower (increased to 405 horsepower in 1993). The ZR-1 was known for its impressive performance at the time, with a top speed of around 180 mph and advanced handling capabilities. The ZR-1 also had a unique body style, with a wider rear end to accommodate larger tires. Production of the C4 ZR-1 ended in 1995.

  • The highest sale prices are for 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 models, with prices ranging from $134,000 to $226,000. All of these sales took place on Bring a Trailer.

  • Older Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and ZR-1 models (from 1990 to 2012) generally sold for lower prices, ranging from $16,500 to $81,000.

  • Most of the sales took place on the Bring a Trailer platform, while a few happened on Mecum Auctions. No other websites had any sales.

  • The 1990 and 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 models had the most varied sale prices, ranging from $26,000 to $72,000 on Bring a Trailer and $16,500 to $47,300 on Mecum Auctions.

In conclusion, Bring A Trailer is the ideal platform for both selling and purchasing vehicles like the Corvette ZR1. As a seller, you'll likely secure a better deal since prices on BaT tend to be higher than average.  See below for an awesome ZR-1 that is up for auction right now.
