Hagerty’s 2026 Bull Market List

Every December Hagerty releases its Bull Market List, a look at the cars they believe are set for a strong twelve months. It has become a tradition in the collector world, and while some years spark debate, the exercise is always interesting because Hagerty sees parts of the market most people never notice.

Hagerty’s access to insurance quote activity gives them an early signal of what different age groups are searching for. Paired with their view of private transactions and long term valuation patterns, they can often spot rising enthusiasm before it breaks into public auction data. The Bull Market List is one of the few places where they share that perspective.

This year’s picks lean heavily into the nineties and two thousands, which should not surprise anyone paying attention. Younger collectors are driving the next chapter and they increasingly favor fast, usable, analog era cars with some modern comfort baked in.

The Corvette Z06, BMW M5, Volkswagen GTI VR6, and NB Miata are all textbook examples. These were once just fun used cars. Today they are proper collector entries for people under forty and Hagerty’s demographic data lines up with what we are seeing across the enthusiast market.

At the opposite end, the Alfa GTV, Dodge Charger, and Continental Mark II remain classic staples. They move differently than modern performance cars. Slower, steadier, more influenced by long cycles and taste shifts. Hagerty’s inclusion of these models suggests they still see upside as attention returns to period icons that have lagged behind the surge in modern metal.

Trucks continue to be their own phenomenon. The Dodge Ramcharger and Chevrolet 454 SS are clear beneficiaries of buyers being priced out of Broncos and period Toyota trucks. Hagerty notes strong insurance activity and rising declared values which reinforces that this segment still has room.

The R33 Skyline is perhaps the most predictable entry. A car worshipped in games long before it was legal in the United States. Now it sits where nostalgia and availability overlap, which usually sends values one direction.

Overall the list is sensible, measured, and reflects how the market is shifting. Hagerty mixes hard data with instinct and they acknowledge that taste plays a role. That honesty is part of what makes the list worth reading.

There are, however, limitations to any annual pick list. Markets rarely move in neat one year blocks. Some cars take a decade to appreciate. Others spike and flatten. Real trends appear listing by listing and sale by sale across platforms, not in twelve month snapshots. Hagerty provides one useful perspective, but it is still one angle on a very dynamic landscape.

The takeaway is simple. If you love anything on this list, that is the best reason to buy it. If you are treating it as an investment guide, use it as a signal rather than a verdict. PCarMarket’s Relaunch Collection

PCarMarket is back with a full relaunch and a shiny new video on their homepage. New ownership, new platform, and a relaunch collection built entirely around the cars that made the site famous in the first place. Porsche is the brand that defined PCarMarket, and they are leaning into that identity with a lineup that feels both intentional and familiar.

To their credit, the new team did not play it safe. The air cooled side of the collection is anchored by a clean 1966 911 Coupe, the sort of early car that always reminds you how simple and direct the original recipe was. The long hood 1973 911 Targa adds some seventies flavor and comes with matching numbers and strong documentation. The standout is the 1997 993 Carrera 4S Coupe, a low mileage manual that will always have an audience because it pulls the best qualities of the C4 and the Turbo into one package.

The water cooled offerings speak to where the modern market has moved. A PTS Meissen Blue 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the headliner here. Low miles, heavy options, and a paint color that would stop traffic in any decade. The PTS Brewster Green 992 GT3 is another well chosen spec and essentially a new car with 29 miles from new. Closing out the modern side is a very low mileage 2008 997 GT2, a car that still commands attention because it represented the extreme edge of Porsche performance when new.

There is also memorabilia to round out the relaunch theme, from Jacques Villeneuve’s race used podium helmet from the 2001 Spanish Grand Prix to a Rolex Explorer II. These are niche items, but they add some texture and remind people that collecting is not limited to what has wheels.

The broader question is what to make of PCarMarket’s relaunch. A curated Porsche set is a smart way to speak to their core audience on day one. The cars themselves are well chosen. Some obvious icons. Some generational favorites. Some modern metal with waiting lists longer than most of us care to admit.
