A quick observation from the top 5 listings: It looks like the frenzy around flipping the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible 3LZ has cooled off. Last year, these beauties were fetching prices above MSRP, but this latest one snagged a sale $6k under that mark. In my eyes, that's a win-win for both the buyer and seller—still a solid deal all around.

Overall yesterday was a slightly better day than before with just over $5m worth of sales. Not to worry as next week and certainly the week after promises some big sales. With that I’ll be having a special edition of The Daily Vroom featuring some of those cars hitting your inbox next week.

This Armored 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum 4×4 is something different! 

Sometimes I wonder with highly modified vehicles, especially when those modifications include substantial armoring, how someone can invest so much time and money into a custom build, only to drive it sparingly. One has to assume that the seller lived near an executive airport near Chicago and that most of these miles were logged driving to their private jet. At least that is what the cover photo on this listing makes me think... This truck means business, but it is designed to only whisper its true intentions. Lots of secrecy around this one, but I have a feeling that we would all recognize the names (or company) of whoever rode around in this.

Ready for top-down cruising at a moment’s notice, it marries performance with panache—Florida's sunshine has never looked so enticing.

I love Morgan 3 wheelers. I saw one in NYC a few years ago. I heard it echoing off the buildings from about a mile away and waited for it to roar past me. It is like almost nothing else on the road.

This one up for auction is barely broken in with less than 500 miles on it. While it seems more suited to California, I wonder if this would be classified as a motorcycle when congestion pricing takes hold in Manhattan in a few months... Such a cool vehicle. I hope that the next owner drives the piss out of it on Mulholland, Madison Avenue or somewhere in between.

How often do we get to see two Morgan 3 wheelers for sale at auction on the same day? This one, listed in Australia, will close by the time our email goes out in the morning, but I thought it was worth noting that these would be closing within hours of each other, on opposite sides of the globe. Highest bid at time of writing is just over $53,000. If you click on the link and see no price it means it didn’t sell, lets hope it does!

OK, three Morgan 3 wheelers for sale at auction on the same day... This one is in Denmark. I think 3 may be tomorrow's lucky number...

I know that many of you (like me) are not willing to take a chance on a project, but it seems that a few bidders are. This seller admits that they are not overly knowledgeable and they are not certain why this 1983 911SC Targa stopped running last summer.

If I were the seller, I would probably go through the trouble of diagnosing the issues, but therein lies the opportunity, or the destiny, of the buyer of this project. I am familiar with the area where this car is being sold and, outside of California or Miami, this area is filled with some of the best and most knowledgeable air cooled specialists. The hope is that this is a simple fix for a reliable and iconic car. Bidding has reached an optimistic threshold that may leave the buyer deeper into a project than they expected. How lucky do you feel today?

I have a very soft spot for mid-eighties Celicas. I prefer the notchback and EFI myself, but this one has only 25K miles and seems to be a very clean California survivor.

Although there is a discrepancy in records and I would love to know more about the years that this car sat and how it was acquired, the cleanliness of this car shows the limited time on the road that it has really seen. Someone will pick up a great forever car with this listing.

Surf's up... In Canada? This amazing time capsule of a wagon somehow ended up for sale in Canada, outfitted with a California plate and a couple of surfboards mounted on the roof. It is also somehow a featured listing on PCar Market. I am not sure how this came to be, but I like it. Clearly, someone had a vision for this car, likely one that was not geographically appropriate for their location, but it seems to work.

This 1955 Pre-A Speedster is a more appropriate PCarMarket listing. It is a beautiful car with some interesting history and long term ownership. The seller has clearly loved this car and, with a replacement engine, this car is one that can be driven and enjoyed. Unless bidding picks up significantly, I think we can expect to see it listed in the Deal Tank soon.

Sometimes a car just looks like it belongs in the location that it is being sold from. This Ferrari, located in Monaco, seems to be perfectly at home here. The colors, the styling, the attitude.

This is an interesting Carrera coupe for the right buyer. Back in 2005 this car was converted to a turbo by Protosport in New Jersey. It includes a number of RUF parts, but is not a full RUF build.

That being said, it is a narrow body turbo car with a look like an original CTR. This listing slipped past me in May 2023. I first saw this car when it popped up on Facebook Marketplace, shortly after that sale in a town not far from me. I thought it could be an interesting start for a CTR build.

At the time, the seller was asking quite a bit more than the prior sale price a few months prior and basically had not touched the car since it came off the delivery trailer or registered it. It seems that they decided to hold onto the car and make some additional modifications that a number of the commenters on this listing, have questioned.

I still think that this car would be a great platform to build on. This seller got a great deal on the car the last time, but I am not sure that he will benefit from the personalization of the seats or the limited maintenance in the way that he imagined he would. This car has a lot of potential, if the right buyer steps in and makes it happen.

NOT one for sale, but one that sold yesterday.  We saw this car trade hands last year for $16K (https://carsandbids.com/auctions/Km17AMbd/2016-hyundai-equus-ultimate). These were Hyundai's first attempt at building true luxury cars and at the time they were intended to be a Korean competitor for the S Class and the 7 series. After this car was purchased on Cars & Bids, only about 4k miles were added and the buyer decided to sell it on BaT with no reserve. With a winning bid of only $9,700, it seems that someone may have found an under the radar gem of a luxury car.
