Stunning Lamborghini Countach Is Top Dog 🐶

🚀 PLUS: See Why This Ferrari F40 Might Break Sale Records

The Daily Vroom

🚗 Greetings Vroomers and Happy Tuesday! 🚗

A heartfelt thank you to all who chimed in with their thoughts on our recent dialogue with Ro Choy, the driving force behind Cars & Bids. If it slipped through your reading radar, catch up here – it's a conversation worth every minute!

I put out a question yesterday, curious about what made Cars & Bids stand out for you. The response? Overwhelming, to say the least! Dive into the results below to see our community's collective thoughts.

Diving into my inbox, a recurring theme was clear: many of you laud the impeccable customer service at Cars & Bids. On the flip side, some not-so-stellar experiences from other platforms were shared - but we'll keep those under wraps for now.

A handful voiced a longing for Cars & Bids to embrace classic cars. But observing their current path, it seems they've carved a niche that resonates well with the market.

MARKET LEADERBOARD

Sales surged to a commendable $5.4m yesterday, inching closely to the $5.3m recorded the previous Monday. A whopping $4m of this impressive total can be attributed to Bring A Trailer's sales.

Here's an intriguing tidbit I don't often delve into: the star year for vehicle sales yesterday was 2005. Interestingly, 2005 also clinched the top spot for most popular vehicle year in August. But shifting gears to this month, the spotlight shifts to 2004. The implications of these trends are yet to be deciphered 🕵️ but rest assured, I'm on the case to unearth any underlying insights.

TOP 5 SALES

🌞 Origin & Aesthetics: Hailing from sunny California, this 2020 Mercedes-AMG C63 S Sedan is a stunner. It boasts an Iridium Silver Metallic exterior, perfectly paired with a lavish black interior, making it a sight to behold.

💨 Power & Performance: Beyond its looks lies a beast. Under the hood, a fierce 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 roars, delivering a whopping 503 horsepower. It's not just a car; it's an experience waiting to be had.

🌟 Features & Finishes: Decked out in luxury, this sedan comes with the exclusive AMG Night Package, a panoramic sunroof, and plush Nappa leather upholstery. It's all about the details.

🎵 Sound & Entertainment: For the audiophiles, the Burmester surround sound system promises a delightful auditory experience. It's music to the ears, quite literally.

🏁 Driving Experience: Performance enthusiasts, take note. With its advanced capabilities and features, this sedan promises an unparalleled driving experience.

My Take: Reflecting on its auction history, this model seems to face a consistent pattern. In July 2022, the same year/make/model peaked at a bid of $63,500 without a sale. Fast forward to June 2023, another one capped at $60,000, again without finding a buyer.

With this recent bid touching $57,063, one can't help but wonder: are these bids painting a clear picture of the market's valuation?? Sellers need to do their homework…

What do you think. Should the seller have accepted the highest bid?
