There's this lingering perception that cars just don't sell over the weekend, but guess what? A whopping 145 cars, worth a total of $5.8m were snapped up! 🚗💨 Bring A Trailer clearly led the pack, clocking in a remarkable 120 sales with a 72.2% sell-through rate. 🏆👏 Although the highest sale does go to Collecting Cars for the 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera Reimagined By Singer.

Fellow auctioneers, there's a golden opportunity right here, ripe for the taking. 💰🌟 Yes, weekend management might pose a challenge, but hey, with proper strategy, it's doable! And let's not forget, those cumulative sales could be the game-changer your business needs. The fact is, people do buy cars over the weekend. So, come on, get with the game! 🚀🎉

Let’s not forget, that the bread and butter of ALL the platforms are the more average priced cars like we see in the diagram above.

During the weekend's auction, 14 Chevrolet cars were sold, exhibiting a varied price distribution. The average selling price for these Chevrolet cars was roughly $38,031.71, while the median price stood at approximately $31,475.

One of those Chevrolet sales was this 1953 Chevrolet 3100 (below) that was sold for $22,500 and was listed a year previously and sold for $23,500, holding its value reasonably well. (which is a question I get asked a lot about how and which cars hold their value).
