Once again, a tip of the hat to Collecting Cars for pulling off the top sale this past weekend. Just a heads-up for those not in the loop, the 2015 Ferrari Speciale Aperta that changed hands is one of only 499 made, making it quite the catch. These beauties aren't exactly a dime a dozen at auctions, and surprisingly, this one went for less than we've seen before. But, get this – it's not the market taking a dip. It's all about the car's higher mileage and its less-than-pristine condition.

Not trailing far behind was the gorgeous 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo. Last month, it found a buyer willing to shell out $400,000, but then... crickets. The buyer vanished into thin air. Thankfully, it didn’t take long to get it back on the auction block, and the sale price didn’t suffer much. Here’s hoping this buyer actually sticks around. And yes, Bring a Trailer made a nice little bonus on this one with their double fee!

Moving on, we had the 1993 Honda NSX Type R – or the Acura NSX Type R for us folks in North America – fetching a solid $286,400. With mileage on the lower end, this gem is one of just 482 made for Japan, packing a V6 that loves to rev. There's another one up for grabs right now, sporting high mileage but still a dream to drive. Definitely worth checking out.

Then there's the 2024 Mercedes-AMG G63 that someone managed to flip for a 'mere' $20k over its MSRP. The new owner snagged it in a particularly stunning and unique color combo.

Wrapping things up, we saw a 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 an Alumni listing, go for $221k with 12,000 miles on the odometer. Quite a journey from its original sale in 2022 for $251,000 when it was practically brand new with just 353 miles.

The 1934 Packard Twelve Series 1108 Individual Custom Convertible Sedan by Dietrich, currently catching eyes on Bring A Trailer, is nothing short of a rolling masterpiece—a museum piece on wheels, if you will. It’s a shame it’s not basking in the spotlight it deserves with just over 20k views, considering it's not just any car, but a testament to automotive elegance and history.

This Packard is the epitome of luxury and history, dripping in opulence from every hood vent and chrome piece. It’s a breathtaking example of what makes a car truly cool on BaT. The tale of its journey, from acquisition by Paul Andrews in 2009, through its meticulous restoration by Steve Babinsky—a name synonymous with excellence in automotive restoration—to its triumphant sweep at Pebble Beach and Amelia Island, speaks volumes of its pedigree. This car isn’t just a vehicle; it's a treasure, embodying the pinnacle of design and craftsmanship.

Let's break it down:

• It’s a Dietrich Individual Custom, the only open Convertible Sedan body style for its year, making it an incredibly rare find with only about 12 still known to exist.

• It boasts an impeccable history, having been a jewel in both the Andrews and Cassini Collections.

Currently, with a bid exceeding $700k and the auction drawing to a close today, this 1934 Packard Twelve Series 1108 Individual Custom Convertible Sedan by Dietrich stands as a shining beacon of automotive history and craftsmanship.
