Yesterday, $6.1 million worth of vehicles found their new owners. Interestingly, my assumption that Porsche would top the sales was proven wrong. Surprisingly, the top three selling makes were:

• BMW, comprising 10.5% of the total sales

• Ford, accounting for 9.7% of the total sales

• Mercedes-Benz, securing 8.2% of the total sales

It's fascinating to note that we witnessed transactions across 46 different makes. I must admit, listing 46 makes off the top of my head might pose a challenge. Could you name 46 different makes?

I love it when a great car finds its buyer. Yesterday, I mentioned how the seller was sizing up his 2019 Porsche GT2 RS against a recent sale that fetched $575,000. It's clear he aimed was trying to jack up the price, which is fair play. Yet, what's commendable is his realism regarding the reserve price ($395,000) - kudos to him.
